Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Collabs ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, brands, creators, influencers, and other users worldwide.

2. Platform Purpose

Collabs is a global discovery and connection platform. We provide tools and a directory to help brands discover creators and influencers, and to help creators showcase their work. We are not an agency, talent manager, or party to any agreement made between users.

3. No Liability for User Interactions

Collabs is solely a platform that facilitates connections. We do not endorse, vet (beyond basic application screening), guarantee, or take responsibility for any creator, brand, deal, contract, campaign, advertisement, content, or communication between users.

By using Collabs, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for conducting your own research, due diligence, and verification before entering into any agreement, collaboration, or transaction with another user.
• Collabs is not responsible for the outcome, quality, delivery, payment, or legality of any deal, conversation, communication, advertisement, or content created between users.
• Any dispute, claim, or issue arising between users must be resolved directly between those users. Collabs shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from user interactions.

4. User Responsibilities

All users — both creators/influencers and brands — are expected to:

• Act honestly, lawfully, and in good faith.
• Ensure all information provided on their profile is accurate and up to date.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and advertising standards in their respective jurisdictions.
• Respect intellectual property rights and not infringe on the rights of others.

5. Licensing and Regulatory Compliance

Collabs operates globally and is not limited to any single country or region. If your jurisdiction requires you to hold a license, permit, or registration to operate as a creator, influencer, or to engage in promotional or advertising activities, it is your sole responsibility to obtain and maintain such licenses and to comply with all local laws.

We provide fields in user profiles for you to display applicable license or permit details. Providing this information is optional, but if your region mandates it, you agree to adhere to those rules and provide accurate details where required.

6. UAE Content Creator / Advertiser Permit Applications

We facilitate applications for UAE Content Creator and Advertiser Permits on behalf of content creators and influencers through our partner, Amer Center - Smart Business Solutions (www.amersmartuae.com). Amer Centers are government-authorized service centers in the United Arab Emirates.

Collabs FZE LLC is a registered business in the UAE and works in partnership with Amer Center to help process these applications in a seamless way for the convenience of our users. By submitting an application through Collabs, you authorize us to forward your information and documents to Amer Center for processing.

Collabs FZE LLC is not responsible in any way for anything related to these licenses, permits, or their approval. Approval, issuance, and compliance are determined solely by the relevant government authorities. Please always check official government information and do your own research before relying on any third-party service.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of the content they upload. By posting content on Collabs, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

Marketing and platform use. By signing up and uploading content (including profile photographs), you also agree that we may use your content to improve platform performance and for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes our presence on app stores, online advertisements, social media, and other promotional channels.

You may not copy, scrape, or systematically download content from the platform without permission.

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Collabs to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Engage in spam, phishing, or unauthorized solicitation.
• Attempt to circumvent platform security or access restricted areas.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or that we determine, at our sole discretion, poses a risk to the platform or its users.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Collabs is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Collabs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. No Guarantee of Work or Opportunities

Collabs makes absolutely no guarantee, promise, or representation that any brand will contact you, hire you, offer you a campaign, or provide you with paid or unpaid work through the platform. We are a discovery tool only — we help brands find creators and creators showcase themselves. Every decision to reach out, shortlist, negotiate, or work with a creator is made entirely and independently by the brand, based on their own selection criteria, budget, timing, and preferences.

Signing up, completing your profile, or subscribing to any paid tier (including CreatorPlus+) does not entitle you to any collaborations, deals, income, exposure, or specific results. Outcomes vary from person to person and depend on many factors outside of our control.

15. No Refund Policy

All payments made on Collabs — including but not limited to CreatorPlus+ subscriptions, permit application fees, and any other paid services — are strictly non-refundable. This applies whether or not you receive collaborations, whether or not you use the features you paid for, and whether or not you continue using the platform.

If you are not fully comfortable with this no-refund policy, or with any other part of these Terms, we strongly encourage you not to sign up or subscribe. Please take your time to review everything before making a purchase. We are here to help — reach out with any questions at hello@collabs.ae before you pay.

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard to prevent future renewals, but past payments and the current billing period are not refundable.

16. Voluntary Use and No False Promises

Your use of Collabs is entirely voluntary. We do not force, pressure, or coerce anyone to sign up, subscribe, or remain on the platform, and we do not make false promises about income, fame, brand deals, or results. If you are not convinced by any aspect of Collabs — the features, the pricing, the terms, or the community — it is entirely your choice to stay or leave, and we respect that decision.

We are aware that some individuals attempt to misuse or take advantage of platforms like ours in various ways — including fake profiles, inflated metrics, misrepresenting their audience, harassing brands, misusing communications, or exploiting features for purposes they were not designed for. Collabs reserves the right to investigate, suspend, or permanently remove any account engaged in such behavior, at our sole discretion and without refund.
